Research-grounded. Evidence-backed.
Research is central to everything we build. We are actively developing research-backed products and solutions — grounded in peer-reviewed evidence, not assumptions.
How we work
Our research program draws from peer-reviewed literature across developmental psychology, learning science, and organisational capability. We identify claims from the research, trace them back to their original sources, and link them to the frameworks we build. If a claim doesn't hold up to scrutiny, it doesn't make it into our work.
This isn't desk research dressed up as rigour. Every claim we use is mapped to its source, categorised by strength of evidence, and reviewed for methodological soundness. We track what supports our thinking, what challenges it, and what remains unresolved.
Evidence linking
We call our methodology evidence linking — a structured process for connecting research findings to practical application. Each claim is drawn from published research, mapped to the specific concept it supports, and categorised: does it directly support, provide adjacent context, or challenge our assumptions?
The claims that challenge our thinking are the most valuable ones. They're the reason we publish the full chain.
The result is a growing body of verified, traceable evidence that underpins everything we build. Not a literature review — a living evidence base that evolves as new research emerges and our understanding deepens.
What we publish
Analysis
Long-form analysis of what the research actually says — and what it doesn't. We read the studies so you don't have to wade through vendor-funded optimism.
Notebook
Interactive, data-driven articles that let you explore the evidence yourself. Built with reactive visualisations, not static charts.
Substack
Perspectives on the intersection of humans and AI — across education, business, healthcare, and beyond. How we work with AI, how it changes what we do, and why it matters.
Open methodology
Our research process is documented and transparent. If you want to argue with our conclusions, you have everything you need to do it properly.
